ABOUT ME
WHO AM I?
My name is Ola Kaliszka and I'm a photographer, a creative soul with a head in the clouds.
In 2024, while traveling solo through Asia, I found my love – Edel, a wonderful Thai Mixed Breed dog, whom I took back to Europe, where we now live, run through the forests, and create a loving home.
Photography has been in my life since childhood. My dad introduced me to the wonders of analog photography, and one of my earliest memories is developing photos in a DIY darkroom by his side. Watching paper and light become images and reveal stories was my magic in the Eastern Europe of early 2000s.
WHO AM I?
My photography (and life) is all about people (and dogs).
I'm driven by capturing moments of raw emotion of people I photograph, and the essence of who they are.
Photographs have a power other media lack, telling stories in the most organic way, subtly telling stories of the world.
All it takes is one right shot.
